Here’s the recipe for homemade deodorant. With just a few ingredients, you can easily make your own deodorant.
Ingredients#
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 5–10 drops essential oil of your choice
If you prefer, you can leave out the essential oil. However, a scent of your choice — lavender oil, for example — adds a fresh fragrance.

Preparation#
Mix all ingredients until a homogeneous mass forms. Pour the mixture into a clean cream jar and your homemade deodorant is ready. If the coconut oil is too firm, you can melt it at low temperature first. Then let the deodorant set in the refrigerator. Once firm again, you can store it normally in the bathroom cabinet.
Your homemade deodorant is healthier than conventional deodorants and lasts up to 2–3 months. Try it — you’ll be thrilled!
