Chic Bun#
If you like wearing a bun, this version is perfect. Take a section from the front on each side and tie them together at the back of your head. Keep the sections slightly loose and twist the ends through the inside, as shown once in the video. Then divide your hair in the middle into two parts and make a ponytail on each side. Cross the ponytails one by one through the top ponytail. When you’ve reached the desired bun size, secure the remaining hair with hair clips.
Statement Bun#
For a more distinctive bun, try this version. Take a section from the top and braid it. Then tie your hair together at the bottom with the braided ponytail. Pull one part of the hair tie down so a bun forms (see video). Cross the lengths to cover the hair tie. Secure the ends with another hair tie or bobby pins.
Ponytail with Twist#
If you want to wear a ponytail and still look elegant, this style is perfect. Take a section from the top and tie it into a ponytail. Gather the lower hair over your ponytail and tie it on top. Don’t pull the hair tie too tight. Then pass two fingers through the middle of the top ponytail. Cross the ponytail and pull the lower ponytail through the opening (see video). The top ponytail now sits underneath—pull it tight to secure.
