1. Go for a walk
#

In nature, you forget stress and fresh air helps you unwind. A lovely walk alone or with someone will do you good, and nature will leave a healing effect on you. Give it a try — walk for half an hour every day and treat yourself to this break.

2. Oxygen
#

Just as good as a walk with plenty of oxygen is fresh air at home. Keep the windows open and, ideally, take a few breaths outside. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Enough oxygen helps prevent inflammation and you will feel much better. Of course, you should also ventilate your home daily for 15 minutes to replace stale air with fresh air.

3. Take a bath
#

Treat yourself to a relaxing bath before bed now and then. Pleasant scents and aromas as bath additives will help you enjoy the bath and wind down. After a lovely bath, you can go to sleep relaxed. Your sleep will be more pleasant than usual. The next morning you will feel very relaxed and start the day with plenty of energy.

4. Candles
#

Candles automatically create a cosy atmosphere, and that is good for your soul. When you read a book in the evening or enjoy a delicious tea, you can make things cosy and light a candle. It will help you switch off and relax. A candle with a pleasant scent will do you good.

4. Sunshine
#

Sunlight lifts everyone’s mood — we notice that in summer too. We are in a much better mood in summer than in winter. The sun triggers production of the hormone serotonin, which is why sunshine makes us happy. So get outside and enjoy the sun. Remember to use suitable sunscreen to protect your skin.

5. Chocolate
#

Sometimes the body needs a sweet break, and with your favourite chocolate you can treat yourself. Enjoy your chocolate without thinking about calories — you will feel much better.

With these tips, take a break to recharge enough energy for everyday stress. Give them a try — you will notice how good this me-time does you.
